Van/Trailer Policy
CHURCH VAN/TRAILER USE POLICY 1. Overview All New Ridge Fellowship Vehicles and trailers are for use by our staff, congregation, and various ministry groups. No group/individual may use a church vehicle other than those associated with New Ridge Fellowship. (This is an insurance and liability issue.) ⢠All drivers must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record. ⢠A copy of each driverās valid Driverās License must be kept on file in the Church Office BEFORE they drive any vehicle. ⢠Drivers must be āassociatedā with New Ridge Fellowship. 2. Administrative Tasks ⢠The Operations Manager shall be responsible for overseeing scheduling the use of all vehicles. The Facilities Manager shall have the responsibility of maintaining all vehicles and will work with the Executive Pastor to ensure all vehicles are properly insured, registered, and inspected. 3. Use of Van/Trailers ⢠All groups using the van must return the said vehicle to the church clean and with more than ¼ tank of gas. Clean means: Exterior ⢠Not covered in massive amounts of dirt or debris ⢠Interior - No trash (bottles, tissues, wrappers, etc.) - No leftover clothes (shirts, coats, etc.) - No leftover materials (bibles, first-aid kits, etc.) - No crumbs on seats - Large trash picked up off the floor/cupholders. - Vacuuming if the floor is a mess ⢠THIS IS REQUIRED AFTER WEEKLONG TRIPS All groups using the trailers must return the trailers to the church empty and in good ⢠Must be replaced in the proper location and the trailer lock in place. *NOTE: Staff members have up to 3 days after an event to ensure the van/trailer is clean unless it will be utilized on shorter notice by another group. * Volunteers must clean out directly after use or communicate alternative date w/ Executive Pastor.
